This is a fan mount to easily mount Mikikin fans to intermediate, large, and backseat rider RuffLand Kennel doors (other sizes coming soon!). It is designed to be installed with one hand and completely from outside the kennel. It features a spring loaded locking tab to mount it to the door and another tab that locks the fan to the mount. It can be mounted upright, upside down, and sideways with clearance areas to fit over the side latch rod loops in the middle of the door. You can mount it nearly anywhere on the door, if it doesn’t fit one way, spin it 180* and it should then fit. There is also a cutout to reach the power button while it’s mounted to the door, no need to remove it to turn it on or off! We have done rigorous testing to ensure the fan is positioned in the optimal spot in relation to the door holes for peak efficiency, and the correct distance from the door to allow it to mount anywhere while providing the most amount of airflow through the door.
We prioritize safety over all else! This is designed to be near impossible for a dog to pull into the kennel and NO small parts on the kennel side of the door. It has minimal plastic sticking inside the kennel and soft edges to limit chewing.
The Mikikin fan is a great option for a cheap rechargeable fan (USB-C) that provides plenty of airflow to keep fresh air moving through the kennel and no cords to trip over! You can also use the fan plugged into a portable battery or the wall/vehicle as well. They can be found on Amazon for around $10 and in a few color options. This fan may show up under a different brand name as well, as long as it looks identical, it should fit this mount. We have an article coming soon that goes over our results from testing and research on several different fans on RuffLand kennels. A link to the article will be posted here and on our social media when it is available. You’ll be surprised by the results, we certainly were!!
You get 1 mount or 1 mount and 1 fan depending on the selections.
To install:
– Squeeze the large spring loaded lock and position the mount over the holes you want it installed in.
– Push straight into the kennel door holes and release the lock lever.
– Lift the handle/kick stand on the fan and slide the top of the fan into the top overhang on the mount.
– Push the bottom of the fan under the small locking tab.
– To remove, do the opposite but with some slight upward pressure on the mount when removing it from the door so the upper 2 hooks can release from the door.
– You can also install and remove the mount with the fan preinstalled, but is slightly easier when they are done separately.
This is 3D printed with PETG plastic that has natural UV resistance so the color won’t fade and the plastic won’t degrade over time, even in direct sunlight. It also has great thermal resistance so it won’t get soft and deform if left outside or in a hot car.

There are some kennel sizes that share the same door, for instance intermediate, large, and backseat rider kennels all share the same door.

– These are printed in black PETG plastic. This plastic can start to get soft at temperatures of 190*F. Even in extreme environments this shouldn’t be an issue. PETG parts have been used in vehicles and outdoors for long periods of time without negative effects.
– This is a 3D printed part, this means not all parts will appear or fit exactly the same. I do not accept returns due to it being made to order, however If you have an issue with your part, please contact me and we can work out the issue together.
– If you break it due to over-tightening a screw or through use, you can fix it with some super glue or you can message me to purchase a replacement part.
