Rear seat cupholder for the 1984-1996 Jeep XJ Cherokee and MJ Comanche if fitted with the full length console.
This is a 3D printed rear seat cupholder solution for the 84-96 XJ Cherokee. This attaches to the back of the center console over top of the rear ashtray and is a two-piece design to allow for easy removal of the cupholder portion for cleaning and to fold the rear seat down. The two parts are a mount that is attached to the console and a removable cupholder that just slides down into the mount. It is designed to be as small as possible to allow the maximum leg room for passengers while still holding large cups. This is designed to accept the 20oz and 30oz Yeti tumbler as well as most other brands of tumbler/bottle/cup. Maximum width at base of the cup is roughly 2-7/8″ (2.886″ – 73.3mm). It also has a recess in the bottom to keep cans centered and upright. Will also fit most large disposable cups.
The console lid still opens fully and the seats lean all the way back with the cupholder installed. Depending on the cups in the cupholder, the cup may limit how far the seats and console lid move backwards. For reference, with a 30oz Yeti in the cupholder the console lid goes almost vertical before stopping and the seat could still be laid back. With other cups this may vary.
You won’t find any other cupholder specifically designed for the rear of the XJ!
In the package you will find the cupholder and mount with (2) L-brackets installed on the bottom of the mount. There is also (1) extra screw in the backside of the mount just in case but you should never need to remove the screws on the mount. The top of the mount attaches using the factory screws under the console lid hinge and has L-brackets that slide behind the lower trim on the back of the console to hold the bottom in place. This wont damage your center console and does NOT require drilling any holes or permanently modifying anything in your Jeep.
INSTALLATION – Remove the 3 screws holding the console lid hinge to the console. Then take the mount and slide the brackets behind the lower trim and position the top to align with the screw holes in the console. Place the console lid back down and replace the 3 screws to secure the hinge on top of the cupholder. Place the cupholder insert into the mount and enjoy!

– These are printed in black PETG plastic. This plastic can start to get soft at temperatures of 190*F. Even in extreme environments this shouldn’t be an issue. PETG parts have been used in vehicles for long periods of time without negative effects.
– This is a 3D printed part, this means not all parts will appear or fit exactly the same. It is set to print as fast as possible due to the long print times and I’m trying to keep prices low, this results in a slightly lower resolution print however I will never send a part out that doesn’t look good or function properly. I do not accept returns due to it being made to order, however If you have an issue with your part, please contact me and we can work out the issue together.
– If you break it due to over-tightening a screw or through use, you can fix it with some super glue or you can message me to purchase a replacement part.
